There are diverse opportunities for growth in the VHV Group. It is important to us that our employees are able to contribute their individual skills and knowledge. We train new, future and already experienced managers in the VHV Group in our managerial culture as this culture is highly valued in our company. Thanks to our in-house manager development, managers also receive an extensive range of training and further education opportunities. Our company-wide principles of action and management play an important role in successfully implementing the established VHV managerial culture.

Next Generation Manager Program

We prepare future managers for their managerial role in the VHV Group with a special next generation program. Participants gain qualifications in various learning modules and practical phases in which they receive consistent feedback.

They learn to cope with future managerial situations, reflect on them and identify their own spheres of development. They develop their communication skills as well as their methodological abilities, particularly in project management, also covering aspects such as project organization, project phases, targets and project controlling.

The aim of the next generation manager program is to enable participating employees to identify with their future managerial role more quickly and successfully embrace the VHV managerial culture.

New Managers

New managers in the VHV Group expand their managerial skill by participating in a general management program. Their own management horizon is to be expanded by means of external stimuli, thereby enhancing the quality of their management work.

In addition, specific VHV management themes are dealt with alongside expectations for the implementation of VHV action and management principles – in intraday units as well as face-to-face events or online. This also includes the VHV management culture as well as the instruments of the Company Health Management System to motivate employees and reduce absences.

They are given the opportunity to discuss any management problems occurring in their everyday working life in a coaching session or as consultancy between colleagues with the emphasis on practical experience. In this way, they train more effective communication with employees for more efficient managerial work and build a network among their managerial colleagues.

Strategic Manager Development

To ensure that experienced managers who have already occupied their managerial role for a long time, continue to grow, all managers in the VHV Group receive annual training. Besides the individual manager, the entire corporate and managerial culture of the VHV Group benefits from this strategic manager development.

The aim is to achieve a unified understanding of management in order to align the way we respond to current issues with such understanding. It is important in the process to raise managers’ awareness to ensure that they put what they have learned into practice in their everyday occupation as a manager.

In addition, managers on all levels can take part in events or seminars to expand their managerial skill, based on their individual needs. For example, this can be achieved on the basis of self-study or face-to-face training.
